How to receive snapshots by email from MVTEAM 4MP 3MP DVR?

MVTEAM 5-in-1 4MP 3MP hybrid DVRs support send snapshot by email when there are alarms such as motion detection,video loss,video blind etc.

Follow are four steps show you how to setup this function. 

Notice,before start to setup,please install hard disk into dvr and make sure the dvr can be connected to internet sucessfully.

Step 1:Hard Disk Partition

1)Enter DVR main menu-->Advanced-->HDD Manage,click "Partition".

2)Input the size of the image partition, the system will automatically record the partition and the image partition to allocate space (unit is MB).

3）After input the size,click "OK" and reboot the dvr.

4）After the reboot, there will be a snapshot disk management (the following 2-2 is the image partition)

Step 2:Snapshot Configuration

Enter Main menu-->Record-->SnapShot Conf

Setup the channel,presnap number,mode,week,period;check the detect and alarm.

For the modes,please refer to below instruction.

Schedule:According to the settings (normal, detection and alarm) recording type and recording time period to achieve capture;
Manual:Regardless of the status of the current channel, select the "Manual" button, the corresponding channel has a capture function;
Stop: Regardless of the state of the current channel, when the "Close" button is selected, the corresponding channel is stopped.

Step 3：Email notification settings.

Note: gmail requires SSL encryption, so "SSL" must be selected, the rest determined by the Email.

Step 4:Alarm Settings

Main menu-->Alarm,here you can set the motion detect,video blind and video loss alarm.The setting interfaces are same.

1))Select the channel number to be set
2)select 【Enable】
3)select the SnapShot channels
4)select 【send EMAIL】

After finish above 4 steps settings correctly,you will receive snapshots from dvr by email.

How to do when there is no image from AHD camera?

When you connect AHD cameras to DVR,but there is no image from cameras on the screen,then how to do? Here we will guide you how to exclude every causes. 

1-Firstly ,please confirm there is no problem with DVR or AHD cameras .
As we know if you connect several cameras to a DVR at the same time , but all cameras  have no image.there should be some problem with DVR.Then please check and confirm :
1)The power adapter of DVR is well. Please change other power adapter to try .
2)The TV system of DVR must be same with cameras.You can enter the menu of MVTEAM DVR as below to check it .

3)The resolution of DVR must be higher than AHD cameras. For example 3MP cameras can not work with 2MP DVR. You can enter the menu on MVTEAM DVR as below to check the resolution .

4)As MVTEAM DVR is hybrid type which can which can support AHD,TVI,CVI,CVBS,IP cameras together. So if the DVR is not with AHD mode,there will be no image.Then please check DVR’s mode as below:

5)If the above factors have been excluded,but there is still no image from cameras .please check your video cable (VGA/HDMI) and your monitor .

6)If there is no problem with video cable and monitor and you use MVTEAM new UI DVR,please show the version information as below to us , we will send the newest update software for you to try .

2-When you connect several cameras to the DVR, but only one or two cameras have no image,then the DVR should be well and there is problem with cameras ,please check and confirm:
1)Please check the Infrared lamp,if it is off,there may be some problem with the power adapter.then please change another new one to try .
2)If the power adapter is well, please connect the camera to other well DVR separately to try .
3)If there is still no image , please change other BNC cable, sometimes BNC connectors loosen will cause this problem ,then just changing other BNC cable will be okay .
4)If power adapter,BNC cable and DVR etc are no problem .

There may be some problem with main board of cameras.
(Please note: If camera have been installed ,please take it out from the project to test.Sometimes the installation environment will affect us to exclude the cause.)

If you need control PTZ Cameras by DVR, except cable connection,also need do some configuration on DVR.Here we will guide you how to connect the AHD PTZ Camera to MVTEAM New UI Hybrid DVR.

Step 1: Cable Connection

PTZ camera are with video cable,power cable and RS485 control cables.

For RS485 control cables,the red one is RS485+,the yellow one is RS485-.If the control cables of your camera is not red and yellow,please refer to the label,it show which one +,and which one - clearly.

1)Connect video cable to DVR Video-in;

2)Connect power cable to power adaptor of PTZ camera;

3)Conenct RS485 control cable to DVR RS485 interface.For RS485 interface of DVR,the A is +,connect the red cable of camrea;the B is -,connect yellow cable of camrea.Picture as below:

Step 2: Configuration

After finish cable connection as step 1, power on the PTZ camera, it will do self-inspection automatically(pan/tilt rotating,zoom-in and zoom-out).Then,will show camera info on monitor as below:

Please note the Protocol,Dome ID and Baudrate,we need configue those info on DVR.

Enter DVR menu-->system-->PTZ Config.

Channel:choose the channel which connect PTZ camera

Control:choose "Serial"

Protocol:PELCOD

Address:1 

Baudrate:4800

For protocol,address and baudrate must be same as camera info.

Then,click "application".

After above configuration,you can control the PTZ camera by DVR now.

Click PTZ control,enter control panel as below:

Click page switch,input No."95"-->click reset,can call the menu of PTZ camera.
